Bio: Maya Hakvoort was born in the Netherlands and is one of the first and the biggest Dutch stars which are active on the german speaking scene. She started in ensemble in Chicago in the Netherlands, but in 1993 she got a role in new musical Gaudi in german city of Aachen and became her successful journey on german speaking stages.

She is most known for her role of Elisabeth, which she started playing in 1994 and so far her last show as Elisabeth was in the concert production in 20th anniversary in Japan in 2012. She released 2 live albums with songs mostly from musicals.

She has her own production company and founded group 4 voices of musical, starring herself, Lukas Perman, Marjan Shaki, Mark Seibert and guest stars. This “supergroup” toured Austria and Germany with songs from musicals.
