Annemieke van Dam was born on 18th August 1982 in Rotterdam. After study on Braabantse Conservatorium, she started her musical theatre career. Her first big role was Doornroosje (Sleeping Beauty) in Doornroosje de Musical in 2004. 

In 2005 came her first role in the german speaking countries, she joined the Stuttgart production of Elisabeth, as Fräulein Windisch and understudy Elisabeth. Elisabeth became her signature role, she played this role in the first and second european tours and in the twentieth anniversary in Vienna.

She was cast as ensemble member and understudy Constance in 3 musketiere in Stuttgart. In summer 2008 she played Lisa Carew in Jekyll & Hyde. Annemieke also originated the role of Guinevere in new Wildhorn musical – Artus Excalibur in St. Gallen.

She enchanted the audiences in Vienna once again, this time being cast as Mary Poppins in 2014 in the first german-speaking production of this Disney classic.

She released her first solo album (EP) called Amateur in 2015.
